Good quality but no nickel
This towel rail is strong, heavy and stable: I no longer have to worry about lugging it around when I reach for my towel. However, the finish is advertised as brushed nickel, even though it actually looks more like brushed chrome: it's a bright, shiny metal that looks more polished than brushed, so it doesn't quite match my brushed or brushed nickel fittings. . (I have included some photos to show the difference between the towel rail and other matte and/or nickel plated items in the same bathroom.) A standard towel folded in half.
