So every experience is different, I saw this dress, read the reviews and decided to order it as it matched the theme of my daughter's 5th birthday party. When the dress arrived it did not look like the pictures online, absolutely no ruffles, just tulle with a satin ribbon. One reviewer noted that her dress was torn at the end of her daughter's party. A proven fact that by the end of the party the hem of the dress began to fall. No big deal since he got through the party. After I washed the dress to use as a play dress, the bow fell off completely in the wash and the outer layer of tulle just came off. Much luck!
