Sounds good! Easy connection.

Purchased for use in a search. I use it with an amplifier to speak to guests through a set of speakers. I used to have a wired mic that worked fine, but I was upset that I couldn't get up and walk around. This wireless microphone really nailed it. At first I was skeptical about the quality, but actually it's just fantastic. And it's a bit louder than my previous mic and I had to turn the amp volume down. Connecting is very simple, just turn on the receiver and then turn on the microphone. and it connects very quickly. I was able to exit the room and walk down the hall and it still worked which is great too. There are a few odd things, at least for my use. The microphone itself is powered by 2 AA batteries, which are easy to replace. The receiver has a rechargeable battery, which is great, but it doesn't have an LED that lights up when it's charging, which I wish. You just have to assume it loads. The LED on the receiver is GREEN when powered on and NOT connected, and RED when connected. It seems backwards to me, but if you get it, it's ok. There is no way to disable the microphone once it's on and plugged in. It's either on or off. At first I thought this would be a problem, but actually it isn't for two reasons. First, the microphone is directional. I can put it upside down away from me and it doesn't pick up any sound. You need to keep this in mind when using it and speak directly into it. The second reason is that since it connects to the receiver almost instantly, I can just turn the mic off when I'm done speaking, and then when I need to speak again I just pick it up and turn it on, and it's instantly connected and ready. The mic has a small display that shows battery life, which seems pretty good, as well as the channel it's connected to. You can change the default channel so theoretically I can get a second mic and use it in the same room without interference. I haven't tried it, but this should work. Overall, despite a few quirks, this is a great mic for the price.
