Review on Decobros Tabletop Two Sided Magnification 13 Inch by Wesley Sharp

I already had a smaller version of the 1x/7x mirror but needed the larger version for my vanity. I also had an old large lighted mirror that was 1x/5x. Unfortunately, as I get older, I need 7x for close-ups. I narrowed my choices down to two mirrors that interested me. I always check and rely on reviews when choosing. My choice was the Decobros 8 inch brushed nickel mirror and the Miusco chrome mirror. Both cost about the same price. In terms of decor, any of them would suit me. Here's my story. I chose Decobros. As it had much more general reviews. I received the whole mirror. It was well packed with styrofoam and came already assembled. I noticed that part of the glass edge was open on the 1x side and you could feel it when flipping the mirror to the other side. It was as if the mirror had been cut too short to be completely covered by the edge of the shroud. That inner metal part of the case wasn't a clean, smooth edge either. Coming from production, I know how the edge quality should be. This was not acceptable to me so I sent it back and ordered another one thinking it was an accident. So I returned the first one and got the second one a few days later. At first everything around the rim glass looked ok, but again the quality of the metal was unsatisfactory in my opinion. However, a few days later I noticed again that the edge of the glass was exposed on the same 1x side as before. I couldn't believe it. It is now apparent that this was a manufacturing defect as it was the same issue as the first mirror I received. I also noticed that the 1x side mirror was also slightly distorted. So of course I sent it back. There is no way I would try a third Decobros brand. Then I decided to buy a Miusco mirror. This mirror was better packed than this one. It also consisted of 2 parts, whereby you had to attach the lower part to the mirror block. Everything looked great including the edges of the case, the packaging, the quality and the actual quality of both sides of the mirrors. And no distortion. I can tell you that the Miusco mirror is excellent and a much better choice than this one. I'm sorry but I just can't recommend this mirror based on my experience with them.
