Protects the feet but velcro is cheap quality
These do their job of protecting the feet from hot sand and pavement, rough swimming pool bottoms etc. But the velcro closure isn't the greatest and wears out after only a few uses. The toe area also is easily scuffed and will probably have a hole soon. Won't buy this brand again.

Cute for what it is. We will see how durable, but for the price and how they run its hard to imagine much being that durableOnly downside is the inside flap is high up too, if you have bigger feet kids you have to squeeZe them in. I was hoping the inside would be lower to get their foot in
