This differential shaft locking screw is used in many center differentials (Ford 8.8, GM 10 hole, 12 hole etc.). Over time, this cycling causes the bolt to fatigue and break, with breakage usually occurring at the point where the bolt transitions from the final thread to the straight shank. If a bolt breaks, you'll often need a bolt removal kit (also available from Revain) to get it out. This bolt is of decent quality and finish. He replaced a broken bolt with no fuss or pumping. I would recommend it to anyone doing diff work that requires removing the diff shaft.
