A few months ago I had to see an orthopedist for pain between my 2nd and 3rd toes. Thought it was some kind of wart. It turned out to be a callus caused by the rubbing of the toes against each other. To get to the area that is affecting me I can use just the tip of the stone and about 3/4 inch down from the tip using the slightly curved side of the tip. This is perfect and I am able to file down that area so there is no raised skin which tells me there is no corn material left. However, make sure you read and understand all warnings before using this type of stone in case you have any health conditions that make using the stone contraindicated. This purchase will probably keep me away from the orthopedic chair for a long time to come.
