This stand is very stable. I use the clamp configuration because I don't want to drill a hole in my desk. Also with my 32" monitor there is practically no shake (only shakes when I bump into the table that turns into stand and monitor). Like, this thing is very durable and made of heavy metal. The adjustments are also very easy The only adjustment that needs to be tightened or loosened is the height and forward tilt Left-right pan and side-to-side adjustments are made by simply sliding the monitor into position by hand Tilt it up and down, to adjust it by pushing or pulling the heavier monitor. I just corrected the tilt up and down as my table and chair are stationary. This stand also frees up a lot of desk space and helps keep your setup organized. Overall this one is great Very good stand for the price.
