This product works great and only burns a bit towards the end of the minutes of wear. However, I can be an unreliable source of information on pain levels as I have used topical ointments for eczema around my mouth for years which at times burned so bad it brought me to tears. The slight burning sensation this cream causes is a bit uncomfortable in comparison. That being said, this product didn't cause too much additional irritation on my extremely sensitive skin that could be attributed to something else in life (like stress), so I'd say it's safe for sensitive skin. I will say that if you are just applying it to your face DO NOT follow the cream mixing instructions! You will end up doing too much and wasting it. A minimal look only on the face is quite possible, and you can still bleach your female mustache almost to the point of invisibility without leaving a white spot on the face. However, when I use this cream on my stomach line, there is always an irritated white streak that goes away after a day or two. Always test patches of skin to see how they react! Unfortunately my father passed the genes for hairiness to me so my facial hair was very visible before I started using this product and now I can go outside without worrying about my upper body. Lip.
