Review on North Face Minimal Heather Graphite Backpacks in Casual Daypacks by Barbara Murphy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits well on the back, roomy but too heavy and falls off

I have mixed feelings about this backpack. When I first received it I thought it was warped because the back was curved. Turns out it's actually a great feature, making it perfect for your back. Although the backplate is stiff and curved, I found it still fits my laptop and sits on my back just as well as without it. It sits fairly high on your back, which is better for your back but not the coolest look if that's important to you. It's roomy, too, and feels sturdy, with nice padding on the back and a big, thick handle. What I dislike the most is that due to the weight distribution and design, you can't pick this backpack up without it immediately falling off. "Face" Not only does it seem that the front gets dirty very quickly, but the whole point of a backpack and its front compartments is being able to reach and access them without holding it upright. Another big disadvantage is the weight. When he's lying on his back he doesn't really stand out, but when you pick him up he weighs a ton. Even empty it's heavy, but with books and a laptop it was insanely heavy. I'll probably return it but I'm confused about it.

Pros
  • Always liked it
Cons
  • So far so good
