I got this because I have two friends (husband and son) who were frustrated because their hair got wet behind the skin during their skincare routine. They didn't like the hard bandages and the soft ones didn't fit, so velcro is the perfect solution. We ended up using one each, and they fit all three of us with no problems. It won't slip or slide on any of us and is washable. Weirdly, I've seen my husband use it as a face mask to sleep on once or twice, so it should be comfortable enough to help you fall asleep.
