If so, then right

To get straight to the point: No shower dispenser should be fitted without drilling into the tiles. This raises the issue. You might be able to handle tons of kitchen and bathroom silicone to harden it, but you won't catch me with it. Been there, done. So that means you need a spirit level and a special piece of tile, and if it were me I'd use construction anchors instead of freebies. I almost never use the equipment that comes with it, because no matter how expensive or good the part is, there is always not enough of it. So, know this in advance. Apologies to all the homeowners who think you should be able to do anything with 3M tape - that doesn't happen here. If it works, it won't run indefinitely. So the question is: what kind of pump are you drilling a hole in your new expensive tile for? (You want the mounting holes to line up so you can swap them out, but that would be too easy, right?) Your options are various $30 plastic knockoffs. seems to be on the totem pole despite its shortcomings (others have the same shortcomings and more - I know I've bought a handful and checked them out!). The imitation plastic looks ok in the photo but once you get it in person the plastic is obvious, the build quality is pretty poor, it gets dirty very easily and just looks tasteless and overall it doesn't seem worth the hassle. $30 less than just one human at the time of writing. However, the pumping mechanism is not in the same league and cannot withstand that much. I'm less confident that metal can resist rust, and I expect the lettering and black plastic trim area to start looking dingy pretty quickly. I doubt the common man will rust quickly unless you clean it with harsh detergents or sponges. . Pumping stations, tanks, etc. - everything is fine. The price difference becomes apparent when you have several of these dispensers. So if you want a premium shower dispenser, buy this one. It's perfect? no Not having an aneurysm unless it lasts 30 years was never the plan from the start. When you're finally ready to get a replacement, read the instructions and prime it properly, secure it to the tile well with anchors - well I haven't seen better options than Simply Human. Is it worth? Only you can answer this question. As for me, I'm not going to keep drilling something into my tile until I'm sure this is the best I can find.
