Updated 10/04/18. This product has exceeded all of my expectations. I loaned it to my family and it saved them the day their cabin fridge stopped working. I used it myself during our vacation trip to the Main and it keeps the contents at or below 40 degrees at all times. I've also used it 24/7 to keep extra drinks cold without having to put them in the fridge. I still use it daily. Have since purchase. I have a thermometer in, but I don't really need it now. I highly recommend this product. I am satisfied with the tests of the product. I'm planning a week-long trip and I always pack the necessary groceries and medication in a collapsible cooler with ice. Always on the lookout for ice cream supplies. I messaged the device three times using the ice tray to lower the temperature. Then remove the ice cube tray. The temperature reached 38 degrees and stayed at that level overnight while running on AC power. I also texted in my car using the DC connector. So far it has kept liquids cold. I have yet to try any foods or medications. I'm sure it's ok as I also plan to use a re-freeze pouch with it. I'm glad it has both power cords and they can be stored on top of the cooler. Works very quietly. I will report after our trip at the end of August. I will rate it four stars only after my trip and further evaluation.
