I bought a black belt. I wasn't sure what length to go for. I measured my other straps and they are the same length as listed for the large one. I was hesitant to buy a size up because I wear size 6 or 8 pants, but I went with the sizes listed. I understand this is for men and women. I've had this brown belt for years and it still looks good. When I received the belt I measured it. The large one is actually 47 inches from the belt buckle to the end. It's longer than I was hoping for, but it will work fine. It's not a fancy belt, but hopefully it will stand the test of time.
