I needed a lamp for my son's room and he asked me to touch it. The industrial look was perfect for his room, and there are multiple connectivity options on the side. Standard electric plug, USB and C-size charger on the bottom. It's great for him because he has a sound machine/alarm clock and a star projector that I can hook up right here. There are three levels of brightness, so when we're getting ready for bed we keep it low, but for homework and other things it gets really bright. . I originally thought you had to tap the base, but while shooting a video to show the brightness, I found that you can also tap the metal ball on top, or really anywhere on the matte black metal. I never received the bulb so I'm glad it was included, especially the fact that it looks modern, like the Edison style I prefer. The lamp has the appearance of scratched canvas, making it more premium. The shade was very easy to assemble and connect. There are instructions I looked at regarding the lampshade but the rest of the lamp is self explanatory.
