My husband and I love this product! We've had varying levels of use (it chafes like it's peeling from the skin) but this loofah has stood the test of time and use. They are a bit stiff but after a few uses they become flexible as the natural fibers tear inwards. The fabric will stretch after soaking, forming a natural outward curve. The handle and straps hold up well, the loofah fibers don't fall apart, and the design fits a variety of hand shapes. It lasts a lot longer than the cheap nylon loofah sold in stores and takes a lot longer to flake off. I've tried several natural versions and this is by far the best I've found. We will continue to buy this product! Average usage I plan on replacing it about every 8-10 months or so. Extreme use (if you even want to remove your birthmarks) are replaced about every 4-5 months. If you use a colored shower gel, it can stain the natural fibres.
