Review on TORC Women's Glove (Beverly Hills): Fashionable Protection for Women's Hands by Brian Sitton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

But they are not bad gloves.

First off they seem well made which can be a little disappointing but I like them in terms of style, little design touches and construction. The skin on the palm, especially on the fingers, is too slippery. I have to rub them in to add some grip or my fingers want to slip off the clutch and break the lever. They don't fit at all as expected. In fact, I don't understand sizes at all. Every pair of gloves I own is large and they all fit more or less as expected, none are too tight, some can be a bit big. too small. The cuff is VERY tight, especially considering it has velcro to tighten if needed. At first I didn't think I could put my hand in. As soon as I put my hand in the glove, things got more confusing. It was tight, but not uncomfortably tight. Fingertips were uncomfortable. All of my fingers except my thumb were too short, causing the seams to press against my fingertips. I was able to adjust them just enough to make them more comfortable, but it's annoying. On the other hand, the thumb is too long. It's not a big problem, but it's weird - do I have weird hands and fingers or weird gloves? another problem so i will try to take them apart and hope they stretch and fit properly. I got these for a great price through Revain Warehouse so I don't worry too much if I end up not wearing them but do check the size when ordering.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
