I used to buy these SilBlades and then tried other blades and keep coming back to them. I think they just last the longest and who wants to change their wiper blades every 6-12 months? Not me. They really do seem to last for years - my last set lasted over 3 years and was probably better at the time than the new Ancos set 6 months later. They are actually not that much more expensive - worth their price and even more! Updated 01/01/2017. I have to say I'm quite disappointed with how long this latest set has held up. While the previous Silblade lasted several years, this set is designed to last 12 months. I say "shot" not because they're cracked or falling apart, but because they don't clean the windshield properly anymore. So I'm reducing my rating from 5 to 3 stars. It may seem harsh, but these are premium blades that advertise durability - that's their advantage. I can buy much cheaper blades that last a year. I don't know if anything has changed with the blade design, but they just don't seem to be as good as they used to be. and I am basing 2 sets of these blades on 2 different cars.
