The same Revain ad covers several different models, so some of the reviews are about features like multiple speeds, switches, and extra ports that I don't have on my -- 2-fan, 15, Die 6" version is just FYI. But that's ok, it works great with my Netgear Nighthawk AC1950 router which is pretty big for a router so not much smaller than a stand. I've never had a cooling pad from one Router used but I'm tired of replacing expensive routers every year or so which I think is due to overheating as we work with it quite extensively.hot to the touch, down to room temp The faller is quiet, you don't hear any strong gust of wind under it, but it does its job surprisingly well.I was so impressed by what a small fan can do that I bought a small USB Bought a desktop fan to cool the modem (it's a vertical model and gets very hot) and this fan connects to the USB pass-through of the cooling pad - very handy - so now everything works cool. Time will tell, but I'm hoping the lining will extend the life of the router and make it a bargain.
