We have a dog from the shelter that had hookworm and heartworm when we got him. eat, we had to chop the chicken breast and add it to her meal after the treatment because she didn't eat. She doesn't eat her own cuts of any brand, so I looked for a substitute for chicken. We've tried this canned dog food well, but it didn't help. She ate some of the chicken-flavored product, but no other flavors passed her lips. I personally didn't like the smell and I doubt the mixture of turkey and venison. It may work for others, but it depends on your dog.
