I'm 5-6 and about 145 lbs, small on top and medium in the hips so I usually buy a M and took a chance that this wouldn't be too snug. I love the fit overall, but I am not busty and there's no room to spare once I'm in a bathing suit, so if you are busty I would size up. Also, I like the fit of the sleeves but they are snug (especially the lace band just above the elbow, that is very snug). This appeals to me but if you want a loose feel in the sleeves you will not be happy.I read that another reviewer had removed the lace applique, and after wearing it once I decided to do that, too. I like the look even better now, looks much more elegant. With the white arm lace and pom poms there is enough going on, the lace is overkill (and it's not hard to remove as long as you're careful).
