I now have a PS5 and need to store my PS4 as I don't have much space. I wanted a way to keep my extra controllers safe that was less bulky (and not easy to lose) than separate cases. In this case it's supposed to fit PS4 controllers and not seeing other similar options I bought it. I tried it out as soon as it arrived with the goal of putting my controllers away before they got damaged. The case comes with foam pre-cut into the shape of an "Xbox" controller, so I removed that and put mine in. There's no foam on top and there's a gap between them and the lid for you to tuck away cables or whatever. noticed how they play, but decided to try to "spill” - they fell out immediately. "Good," I said. "Let me zip it up and see if it stays secure as I won't open it often." They rumbled like crazy. Kind of defeating the whole purpose, isn't it? As you can see from one of the photos, I was able to fit two fingers in the gap between the edge of the foam rubber and the controller. So much extra space. I even tried it with my PS5 and Switch Pro Controller as they are a bit larger. You can see the gap with PS5. The Switch controller fits better than I expected (not pictured) but it still rattled/fell out easily. I'm expecting anything but an Xbox or Steam controller (or something like that) - the only ones actually pinned to this container. I think if they added a thin piece of foam to mount on top of the controllers they would be better protected and less likely to fall out and not rattle. vicinity. And it wouldn't cost much more, and someone could always turn it down if they didn't need it. Very disappointed. I am sending it back tomorrow and am looking for a better option.
