This is the second mattress pad I have purchased. I was hoping I could get away with just one, but an incident happened just before bed and I ordered this set. First, I love that it comes in two packs already. I wish I had found this when I first looked for mattress pads. 2. These pads are very soft. I still have a sheet over them but they are very soft and have a small pillow. 3rd and most important. Waterproof. The first time my son took a nap on it, he had an accident and it was still dry under the tread. Now he's fallen on the second stage, and yes, still dry.
