First of all there was no indication on the packaging that it was a youth size so I was afraid I bought the wrong thing. However, the barcode sticker said "youth". Secondly, the instructions were translated from Chinese or Japanese, so that some of them were grammatically difficult to understand. I figured it out from the contextual clues. Third, fitting the upper teeth was easy, but fitting the lower teeth was not so easy. Finally, the extra pillow uncomfortably separates my jaw when worn. I usually sleep with my teeth clenched (but not quite clenched) and it positions my jaw in an odd way. I don't know if I should sink my jaw into the pillow on my side, hold it together with the top, push, or something else. I have found that after a while my mouth opens and I drool. Not bad in general, I guess you just have to get used to it.
