I bought these LEDs for my truck - one for the rear fog lights and one for the reverse lights. Both lamps use 21W incandescent bulbs. In a direct comparison I would say that replacement LED bulbs are 10-20% brighter than standard halogen bulbs. A 21W incandescent bulb should give out around 325 lm. I would politely say that the luminous flux of the new lamps is around 400 lm, which is a far cry from the 2800 lm (or 1400 lm per lamp) promised by the manufacturer. The pin at the base of the bulb is too high meaning it won't fit as tightly as a standard bulb. Whether it will stay in place over rough terrain remains to be seen. Overall I am very disappointed.
