I am so disappointed. I have a feeling it was a bait and a clue! I've been ordering this brand for a few years and have always been happy with the thickness of the liners. They used to be made out of very thick, opaque, durable white plastic. This time, when I opened the box and took one out, I saw that the plastic was completely different (and the color of the strap used to be pink, now it's blue). The plastic is very thin. So much so that it is no longer opaque. My tray is blue and you can see the blue color of the box through these liners. They are that thin. I had a bad feeling when I saw this, but I hoped they would still work well enough. They don't. I noticed that the tray started smelling like urine earlier than usual, so this morning I replaced it entirely. When I removed the pouch I was shocked to see that the entire bottom of the tray (beneath the pouch) was wet with urine. Urine somehow seeped through the plastic, maybe through small holes? I never had this problem with this product where the material was thick and strong. My cat is 21 and never bothers to close her shop. It doesn't scratch the box at all. She's just minding her own business and walking away, so the plastic shouldn't tear if she scratches it and even touches it 2 inches from the debris. great size that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I think I need to buy a regular size tray so I have more options for quality liners. I won't buy this again.
