That's pretty much a summary. This blanket is just fine. It's not fat. It's not a plush. It's soft on the down side, but I've had softer down for a much lower price. In fact, the back/printed side has a "hard" texture. I am very disappointed in this blanket. I personally LOVE fluffy and SUPER SOFT comforters. I love THE BEST AND THE SOFTEST. But I've been very happy with most Hudson baby blankets. Many blankets from this brand are very fluffy, but affordable :). I'm also a big fan of fleece starter blankets for a lightweight yet warm blanket to pack in.
