I typically buy clothes a size bigger for room to grow, and with Chinese sizing, I always size up again to get a good fit (runs smaller than US sizing). I bought the 8-9T set and the shirt fit my daughter without any room to grow. She loves wearing it, so I'm not too disappointed with it. The shorts, however, were way too small.they fit my younger daughter who wears a 2T.and the shorts came without a hole for the button!
