I don't really know how to rate this thing. I don't know if it provides support or pain relief. I'm either in pain or it's not helping me. It is soft and firm at the same time. I mainly use it with my office chair at home. Tried to use in the car. I assume it's because I sit in the car more, but the support pad completely rotted in the car. Works best in an office chair. I think this kind of product is hard to find the right one. I don't hate it enough to send it back and I really don't feel like trying another. I have no idea how to attach it to my chair so I keep changing its position and when I get up it just falls off. There was an odor as stated by other reviews but it went away after about a day.
