Come on! This is currently not only a problem with this manufacturer, but with all oven lamps. The grout or glue or cement or whatever you want to call it between the bulb and the base will simply crumble into powder after X (not many) cycles of use in the kiln, which can cause the bulb to detach from the base and fail prematurely. It doesn't look like the filaments ever lasted that long - OR that I'm running too high a temperature in my oven. I never had such a problem until a few years ago (the filaments just burned out after a few days). Same oven, same temperatures. Nothing has changed. You would think that an OVEN bulb would withstand ALL the operating temperatures in an OVEN! Does anyone else have this problem?
