This is an almost exact copy of the Federal PA300, has enough power to drive a 100 watt speaker. The main difference lies in the deputy's ability to control the volume of all functions via the gain control. The Federal PA300's gain control only controls speaker volume. This feature is a mixed blessing. This allows you to turn down the volume in areas where a full volume system would be unacceptable, such as B. in demonstrations with older people and children. The downside of volume control is that in an emergency you have to remember to turn the volume up when you really need the volume. Another less than desirable feature is the cheap feel and look of the selector switch. It's not the same size and feel as the Federal, and it took some fiddling to line up the notch on the switch with the notches on the front of the device. Another thing I noticed is that the volume needs to be high enough for the speakerphone to work properly. A low value for PA will result in a distorted sound from PA. It appears to be a working device and worth the discounted price Revain is selling it for ($143). But I wouldn't pay the price quoted in other sources.
