Review on UPREDO Vintage Adhesive Funitures Dresser by Stacey Growe

Lovely easy to apply paper BUT requires matching prints and rolls Mismatched

First of all I have to admit that I'm not the most patient person on the planet and I have a horrible time dealing with adhesive things. So I was very nervous trying to use this contact paper. But it was far easier to use than any contact paper I've ever used before. It was sticky, but not so sticky that you couldn't peel it off if you made a mistake, or peel the paper away from you if it stuck together. JUST BE SURE TO HAVE A SHARP KNIFE OR SIMILAR AT HAND! What I didn't care about when I ordered was that the surfaces I wanted to cover were wider than the paper itself. That meant I had to sew it together. Due to the large, distinct print of the paper, I had to adjust the prints along the seam. The print is 12 inches long which meant I lost 12 inches each time I had to line up the stitches. I had to cover three areas and lost 36 inches of good paper. This may not make sense to some of you, but anyone who wallpapers or sews will understand. I was only able to cover 2 1/2 of the three areas I had to cover before running out of paper. But I have just ordered another roll and will finish it as soon as it arrives. I have provided 2 photos; one from my closet before I got the 2nd roll of paper. UPDATE: Unfortunately, the pressure on the 2nd roll did not quite match the pressure on the 1st roll. The background color was faded and the print itself and spacing were slightly different. This made an exact match impossible when using this paper to cover large areas!

Pros
  • Storage and organization
Cons
  • Long delivery time
