My sofa has just arrived and I am delighted. That far exceeds my expectations. I ordered from Revain after spending countless hours searching for items, Mayfair, Penny's, laz•e•boy etc. I am not mistaken in assuming that at this price point this item will last a lifetime. But for the price, you seem to be getting a bit more sofa than the ones I've reviewed from the companies mentioned previously. The sofa looks stylish, the skin is SOFT! The seams look strong, there are no protruding threads. It's a firmer sofa, which is what I was hoping for. Cushions and bolsters are not attached so can be tumbled up and cleaned separately. I didn't want a sofa with spindle legs either. The legs of this sofa are quite flat and wide. I hope this helps keep it safe when the kids pile on it to watch a movie. And delivered straight to my living room! (In a huge box!) I'll update the post if anything goes wrong. *** 6 week update *** The sofa still looks brand new. We have 2 drooling Great Danes and they drool all over parts of the couch. I figured this would leave a stain or watermark. I wiped it with a damp cloth, it's not visible at all. Children applied water-soluble poster paint to the skin. Again I removed it with a wet rag but the skin was unaffected. It was pretty cool. The kids flop onto the pillows and since they aren't attached I can easily open them and tuck the filling back in. 2 cushions absolutely no signs of wear. No sagging, no lumps. I still feel very good about this purchase.
