Great upgrade from 2nd gen if you have a larger phone

I had a 2nd gen Taptes charging pad installed in my model 3 and loved it. until I upgraded my pixel 3 to galaxy s20+. There just wasn't enough room to mount the s20+ vertically, so I started (reluctantly) to look for alternatives. When I saw that Taptes had released a version of their 3rd gen tablet with a smaller bezel on the bottom (to allow for larger phones), I immediately ordered. fits on a pillow and how much space is left for a slightly larger phone. I have a Spigen Liquid Air case on my phone and my s20+ with a case is about 1mm shorter than a Galaxy s20 ultra without a case. So I'm pretty sure it will fit on the s20 ultra without a case, and it CAN put a case on the s20 ultra depending on what case you are using. I can't say for sure, so be careful if you're buying this with a huge phone like the Ultra. works exactly the same, installs exactly the same, same great charging speed (actually possibly even faster, gen 2 only ran at 10w while this one should run at 15w but i haven't tested it yet) but actually i can place mine new phone vertical on this one. I'll update my review when I get a chance to test 15W charging, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work as 10W worked fine on my old tablet. Another plus of the third generation: rounded tip. Now you can lift the entire charging cradle without closing the lid! You really can't go wrong with this fast wireless charging (when you plug it into a 12V outlet, the front USB ports don't shrink) for less than half the cost of a Tesla OEM pad and about half the other existing alternatives.
