Review on ๐Ÿ’ก Satechi 100W USB-C PD Wall Charger: High-Powered GaN Tech for MacBook Pro/Air, iPad Pro M1/Air (US) by Rui Hanson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A pretty attractive wall charger in a sea of โ€‹โ€‹mush.

tl;dr: Does the job, quality assembly, appealing looks. Notes:๐Ÿ˜Ž First, it looks beautiful. There are plenty of USB-C chargers with glossy all-white finishes that mimic Apple's aesthetic, and it's nice for the brand to keep a clean look but stay off the beaten path. For me it was an important selling point. Note:๐Ÿ˜Ž This is subjective, but their branding isn't gross. Many brands use ill-conceived typography for their names. This stamp is clean.๐Ÿ˜Ž The socket is spring loaded, it will return to its original position with a slight pressure. Good things QOL. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ This shouldn't come as a surprise since it's a 100W charger, but it's quite an uphill battle. It weighs only 6.7 ounces, making it slightly heavier than a billiard ball. Might be bad for hanging in loose sockets, but I haven't had this problem yet. Final Thoughts: Absolutely no complaints about this charger. It does the job and looks and feels worthy of its price tag. Maybe if I had at least one note I would like the LED to change color depending on the charge level. It doesn't matter as your device is really what you see and not an outlet. Two thumbs up from me here.
