Feet are happiest in shoes

I finally decided to ditch my hybrid leather and canvas flats, though they still had a bit of life in them and try to stretch the canvas. The material has a soft feel, medium/heavy, the toes can be splayed, the shoe conforms well to the arch of the foot and the pivot plate is wide enough to support all metatarsals (unlike my previous narrow hybrid slippers with a narrow turntable and raised toe folds). ). ). The shoe is rather flat on the outside, which I'm not used to, but it sits securely on the foot. I knew it was unlined and I don't find it uncomfortable. The elastics are well placed, snug but not too tight. My street shoe size is 8.5 (9 for sneakers or trainers) and a size 7B fits perfectly) so the advice to go down 1.5 worked for me.

Pros
  • Soft, plush ribbing at the top line eliminates the need for a messy drawstring and eliminates pressure on a dancer's toe
Cons
  • Protection
