I'm happy with the fit on this and the fabric is a lighter weight jean type but stretchy. I'm very happy with it. My office is business casual and it's actually hard for me to find enough casual looking stuff to fit in. As a larger woman, I definitely don't run around in tucked in t-shirts and leggins the way some of them do in the tech world in Silicon Valley. But with this jacket, I can pair it with a nice tapered pant and a colorful tunic and my Sketchers and feel comfortable and not too exposed. The pockets are great and buttons are all well-made. Seems like a quality piece. The sleeves are unfinished and cuffed but it works well. I'm a 1x overall but have an apple shape so I tend to buy a size up. The 2x for me is perfect. I can button or unbutton and the sleeves are not tight at all. I would say they are just right and if I had gotten a 1x they would probably feel more fitted but not tight. Someone said they were tight so maybe hers was defective.
