This is so cool! A long time ago I had a pre-lit tree that could be changed from white to full color at the push of a button and I haven't seen the technology since, so as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. I bought these to hang around the perimeter of my living room and they are so long I only had to buy one strand! You can't connect them to other threads, but I think if your tree was medium sized they would be great on the tree. So many options to choose from! There are 8 different settings, one of which is a slow color change from white to white, which is great for people like me who like both looks. The remote works great and you can also control the lights with a little box that hangs on a wire next to the plug. I would say that I am very happy with them and they worked exactly how I wanted them to. They walked all over my room with a fringe. Excellent purchase! Highly recommended!
