My daughter is between two sizes at the moment. She wears a size 10/12 to 14/16 in most of her clothes, top and bottom. I bought her a 14/16 Teal Queen outfit so she would have an outfit for her yoga club. I figured she could just put on another pair of leggings she already had if those leggings were too big, but she might have grown on them by that time. So, this outfit has arrived and is already too small. The shirt barely covers the navel and the pants barely reach the buttocks. A long-sleeved shirt meant to look like a sweater should definitely not be worn over a tank top, but the sleeve length fits that. I would like to return this outfit. However, we were so busy with the holidays and going to school that we forgot the time. Now we're going to stick with an outfit that says 14/16 but looks like it fits more like 7/8. I'm so disappointed because it's very cute and exactly what she wanted for the style. My daughter is 59 inches tall, weighs 82 pounds, has an athletic build and is 8 years old. (Yes, she's been off the charts since she was a child.) She's of an old age trying to find her own style and no longer wants to wear what her mother chooses for her. So much fun.
