I am a professional fighter. Power Hit and Hard Hit is the name of the game for me. My legs suffer the most considering the area I chose involves mostly jumping, kicking and a lot of heavy bag training. I'm saying all this to give you a picture of just how much my chin and calves endure EVERY DAY. The sleeves are a bit thicker than I expected, but they're breathable enough to keep you warm. I usually wear sleeves during and after exercise for 1-2 hours and at night when I get cold feet. I quickly noticed significant improvements in my calf splints (in 2-3 days actually) once I incorporated them into my daily routine. Don't worry about wrapping the bandages too tight. Only good light pressure is good. I had NO instructions so don't expect them in your package. All of this suggests I'll be buying another set. And I recommend them to anyone and everyone asking about shin splints.
