Well it cost six bucks and the change found my problem wasn't remote related. The stop/pause button on the OEM remote stopped working so I bought this hoping it was just a bad button on the remote. No, this one works just like the OEM one, so the problem is on the TV side. There was a very close lightning strike the day it stopped working, so that's the likely cause. The reason for the four stars is that the OEM case is difficult to break open to change the batteries, it's a lot more than that. It took fifteen minutes of working a razor around the seam to pry it open. Before that, I used to hold and press the arrow on the back, almost crushing the block in the process.
