GOING IN THE GARAGE NEXT SALE

We brought this tent with us to Galveston. Our friends brought umbrella shade. We figured with an infant, this would give us a great shaded area for the baby to play and stay comfortable. It was, and did do a good job of protecting us from the sun and giving us a little "changing area" for our little kids. But it took 2 people to set up and take down. and the steaks that come with this beach tent are not sand stakes. Just normal. We had to keep stepping on them to keep the tent from blowing away. Though the sand pockets helped, it was still slightly annoying. The function of the tent was good, however, for us, we just need a tent that pops up and comes with the right tools for a beach. honestly, the shade umbrellas were more useful that the tent. We just did not use it (even with little kids) as much as we hopped. It was allot of work for something we used 2X in 4 hours.

Pros
  • This is 2nd one of these I've purchased. It is easy to assemble and very sturdy.
Cons
  • The metal poles used to support the tent may become rusty over time
