Bought these for my husband. He is a postman and runs 8-10 miles a day depending on the day of the week (the volume is higher on Mondays). He used to only use sunscreen, but he also has kidney disease and is on a fairly new drug. One of the side effects of this drug (which boosted his kidney function) is that the strong ultraviolet light makes the nerve endings in his hands itch, which is bad. It keeps him up at night. He bought 1 pair last year and they are wearing down on his elbows from constant use. So 4 pairs is really great because now he can have a pair in his car, in his lunch box, in my car and he has a pair to wear while others wash. He also mentioned that 90-100 degree heat is even better as they "cool".
