Review on Ceramic Japanese Noodle Matching Chopsticks by Erik Peterson

The right size for ramen

I just bought another set of bowls as I wasn't thrilled about having to buy a "set" and when the first set of bowls arrived they were SMALL. cereal bowl size. . . I believe they were originally made as rice bowls. Soooo I needed more ramen bowls and broke down and bought them. The good news is they are the right size, much closer to the bowl you get at the pasta store. They are gorgeous in colour. I just want, I want to be able to spend a few dollars and just buy bowls and nothing else. Chopsticks are fine, but I no longer need chopsticks and a spoon? The spoon is just stupid. It doesn't appear to be working. And for the record, I've never had ramen, udon, or soba served in a noodle shop with such a big, weird wooden spoon. Maybe it's for Pho?

Pros
 • Large and versatile: large ramen bowls are available in sizes of 9 inches, 2 liters and 60 ounces. A very large space allows you to eat a large portion of food with liquid not reaching the brim. The size is perfect for serving ramen, pho, udon, noodles, wonton, broth, stews and various soups. They are thick enough to be heat resistant
Cons
 • Available in white only
