Edit: I contacted Remington because my trimmer won't hold a charge. They were very helpful and kind to me. They apologized for their product, which they felt was old and shouldn't have been sold anyway. They sent me a brand new non-remanufactured kit with everything in it. The new trimmer is amazing and I wish the old one had been. It holds a charge for weeks if left in a drawer, which I've found. The trimmer guards are perfect and easy to use. They don't seem fragile like others I've had. This is a really great beard set. I really wish this trimmer was better. I really liked the beard guards and the scroll wheel to change the length, it makes the job a lot easier. Unfortunately, it just doesn't hold a charge. It's completely unusable for me at the moment. When I first received it, I noticed that it didn't hold a charge overnight. No big deal, I just charged it the night before. I've had it for a few months but now it turns itself off as soon as it makes contact with my beard. Battery life is missing. I expected more from Remington. Don't waste your money on this garbage.
