I have been wearing Birkenstock and Orthoheel sandals and flip flops for a long time and this is my first pair of Teva sandals. Although they are cute and well built, there is nothing special about them. But here's the problem with the pair I received: the fabric is too tight. Once you put them on, which isn't easy because they're too tight and you have to kind of squeeze and move them, you find that you can FEEL them on you standing there. After a day of hiking in hot weather, they are really uncomfortably too tight. I took them on vacation to Jamaica and only wore them twice in two weeks because my new and cheaper Havianas were fantastic from the start.
