Review on Sokani Bi Color 2800K 10000K Photography Recording by Steven Asthana

Magenta/Green shift is critical

The Sokani X60 V2 RGB is a massive improvement over the current 5600K V2. I appreciate the price - it would be possible to put it higher but get the same reception. The SS app is nice to use, has connection issues at times, but overall it's a huge improvement over the remote (where can I buy the remote separately, by the way? Can't find it anywhere!). 47! A two-tone mode with a magenta-green shift is a clutch. This hue compensation is critical because no post-processing compensation is required instead. For $200, full true RGB and 2800-10,000K dual color is absolutely all you need. With the Godox Octobox softbox, the light still puts out enough power compared to its 5600K V2 cousin that I didn't find a need for more light. Now I have 2. I will buy a 3rd. Key with octobox, filling with reflector and diffuser, and hair light with curtains, mesh, three-point work. Get the 4th, add a muzzle accessory, and you have a cinematic lighting workflow for less than $900. Compare that to the $3500 you could spend for 4x Aputure 120D (5600K) and you probably wouldn't notice any difference in light quality.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • unreliable
