Almost Perfect - Nintendo Systems

So close! This headset is really light. The microphone is clear and audible. The ear cushions are deep (and kind of comfortable - we'll get to that later). The clamping force is strong enough to prevent the headset from falling, but also will not hurt your head. Finally, the headset offers wide compatibility with the included USB-C to USB adapter. It is great. But for people who read reviews, if you're anything like me, you're probably more interested in cons or issues. And also. there are several.1. (Context: I'm using a Windows PC, I don't know how it works elsewhere.) If you increase the microphone volume from the default 75% to just over 82%, the microphone starts making static noise. On the whole, however, this is not a problem, because the preset microphone power of 75% is sufficient in most cases to be heard. I've attached a screenshot from this review to show what I'm talking about.2. Ear pads are small: Wow! Such a bummer for me because it could be a deal breaker in my case. My ears are in the middle of the scale and with these small earcups my ears don't fit all the way in. However, I believe the ear cushions are "comfortable enough" even if part of my ears weren't in them. cup, it doesn't bother me too much. I still haven't used the headset for hours, but this part might be the deciding factor for me and maybe for you reading this review.3. The ear pads are a bit lame. I prefer cloth ear pads over leather ear pads. Because I usually find that leather headsets heat up very quickly. But despite the fact that they are made of fabric, these headphones heat up very quickly. This may be due to my ear size and you may not have this problem so I'm not deducting another star for that.4. This is something I might not have noticed if I hadn't seen another review pointing this out, but compared to the Razer Blackshark V2 I definitely feel that the ear pads are a lot stiffer against your skin.
