I have set up a sewing and handicraft room in our new house. I bought a large Ikea kitchen appliance with large drawers and an awning designed for stools/food. I use it for cutting, sewing etc. It's great because I have access from 4 sides and the height is easy on my back. However, my electric hangs on the wall. After over 6 months I was trying NOT to trip over the sewing machine cord, I searched and found it. This is the closest thing to a perfect solution I could find. I had to put some heavy books on top of the cable case for about a week to flatten it out completely. (It arrives rolled up.) But it's been that way ever since. It wobbles slightly from side to side when I touch it with my foot. I can see a few pieces of double sided tape to fix this. But it really wasn't a problem.
