For years I used a long HDMI cable to connect my computer to a TV on opposite sides of the room to use as another monitor while watching videos. It was rated 4k. When I first started using this I had a 1080P TV and had no problems. I switched to a 4k resolution TV and was having trouble getting a signal on my TV, but I was able to fix the issue. I upgraded again to a LG OLED 4k HDR TV and the signal kept dropping. I was considering buying a repeater, then I decided on this active HDMI cable. It works much better than regular cable. Not only did I get a signal, but I can set the display to native 4k resolution, which I struggled with on my previous TV. Good product.
